Dedication
A large and enthusiastic group estimated at 220-230 people gathered for the dedication ceremony and reception on June 18, 2011. David Paul Reuwer offered the keynote address as Colonel Thomson; see Remarks by “Danger” Thomson. WOW – what a great turn out and everything looks amazing. Sure wish I could have been there. Hi to all who worked on this and Congratulations for a job well done. Amazing what can happen when folks work together for a common goal.

Congratulations, Doug! The park looks great. Saw some visitors looking at it the other day.
I also owe you a debt of gratitude. At the dedication, I got to talk to fellow SC Loyalist descendents, touch a button worn by a soldier in my ancestor’s regiment, and have plans to attend a Battle of Kettle Creek anniversary event and perhaps meet some distant Lindley cousins there. So, thanks!!
